THE MOSAIC OF Ss COSMAS AND DAMIAN
in byzantine style
After the restoration of the exterior of the building in 2013-14, the committee of the Church decided to order a mosaic representation of the Saints' Cosmas and Damian, which was assigned to the artist Euthymios Papaioannou in Athens.
The mosaic was put in place in June 2014 and stands emblematically for the charismatic spiritual presence of the Saints in the whole area.
